Adaptation

At the end of last year I spent just over a week in Western Australia with some beautiful amigos to ring in the New Year.

Spending a few days down the coast at a little beach-side resort, we shared a three-bedroom condo with thirteen souls. Four of us (including my lady) were crammed into one cosy room replete with a bunk-bed and floor mattress.

While the experience was far from ideal, it sealed a bond between us like nothing else could. It also helped us to appreciate the simple pleasures of a lonely bedroom.

Breaking out of your comfort zone isn’t just integral to creative evolution.

It’s the only way to remain a humble little vegemite.
