I watched the HBO documentary Come Inside My Mind  over the long weekend. Directed by Marina Zenovich, it is a riveting look at the life and times of the late comedic cyclone Robin Williams.

As the film approached Williams’ later life I felt a sinking feeling in my gut as a thought dug its way in.

Nothing good lasts forever.

It’s true that everyday passed is one we can’t get back. Yet that shouldn’t stop us from savouring the things that make life so sweet.

With yesterday in the rear-view mirror, how you choose to paint the present determines your ability to weather the coming storms.

How do you want to shape the here and now?
