I’ve been doing my darnedest to turn my attention from the door. You know what I’m talking about:

Waiting for your special someone to text back

Fretting over the green light from your client/boss

Biting your nails for a same-day delivery that just won’t come

We live in the age of immediate gratification. A reality that has warped our sense of perspective. 

Every second we devote to ‘waiting’ is a moment we can be investing in ourselves. 

It doesn’t need to be serious. Put on your favourite Spotify playlist or open up your favourite online culture source for all I care.

Just don’t chew out the delivery man for misplacing your oversized box of toilet paper. 

Get specific on what leaves you feeling good about life.
