Use It or Lose It

I returned home after a few weeks away to find a thin layer of dust over every surface in my room. Grabbing a bottle of cleaning spray and micro-fiber cloth I went to work on bringing the place back to scratch.

As I scrubbed away, my mind began to daydream as I chewed over the importance of consistency.

If we abandon anything for extended amounts of time; be it a car, apartment or our life partner we only increase the probability of malfunction.

Maintaining a sense of agency over our lives requires that we overcome the urge to kick the can down the road.

Being present not only keeps us well-oiled. It’s the foundation of any healthy relationship.
