All (Or Nothing At All)

My Pops made a poke at me for always listening to American talking heads while working out in his makeshift gym. While it made me chuckle it left me reflecting on the point.

Why do I spend so much of my free time investing in the advice and logic of American thinkers?

Because they’re dreamers. Always looking for novel ways to improve upon the status quo. To climb ever closer to their highest self. 

With every passing day, this is the one of the few truths that holds steady and transcends the emotional debris of the current moment. 

We only have a one-way ticket on this Earth. Why not reach for the stars?
